We went to a great bookstore, went on a walk that started at an Indian temple, got some Legos, went to an art supply store, ate bao, and battled the F1 crowds! Charlie Brown shot is for my uncle. Had dinner last night with a couple who were in Phuket at the time of the tsunami-riveting.
It looks like you all had a great weekend !
ReplyDeleteHaven't checked in with your blog for a while. I was waiting for the link to appear in FB! Either lazy or clueless I guess -- I'm talking about myself, of course. Everyone seems so settled in -- like you're old Southeast Asian hands. I can't believe how Ethan has suddenly matured. In the "coming back from Malaysia" picture he looks like a 17 year old! Kelly's starting to change a lot, too, so I guess it's that time.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your input. I, too, think the kids have changed so much just in the short time you've been away. All these exciting experiences; you'll have so many stories to tell. Have people calmed down somewhat when they see Callie out for a walk, or are they still wary? We have a dog here at my new apt., Fred, who's an old doxie & lives with his owner on the 1st floor & everyone loves him. She dresses him up in a costume for Halloween. :-) Will you celebrate Halloween there? Can't wait for more pictures. Talk to you soon.
